The butterfly is fragile and at the same time so beautiful and powerful. The butterfly offers comfort and stands for remembrance and transformation.
Where the caterpillar is clumsy, the butterfly is delicate and graceful. The butterfly teaches us that we can transform ourselves and that vulnerability is a strength.
Vulnerability is often experienced as difficult, we prefer not to feel vulnerable. Sometimes things take time, space, and peace, and we need a safe environment to undergo transformation, change, or development. Vulnerability comes into play here, but at the same time, it is also the strength.

Tekst NL: Ik ben kwetsbaar én krachtig.
De vlinder is fragiel en tegelijkertijd zo mooi en krachtig. De vlinder biedt troost en staat symbool voor herdenking. Maar de vlinder staat ook voor transformatie.
Daar waar de rups geboren wordt, transformeert hij in alle rust en stilte tot een prachtige vlinder. Deze stilte, tijd en de veiligheid van de cocon is nodig om de transformatie te ondergaan. Het vergt zowel kwetsbaarheid als kracht.
Kwetsbaarheid wordt vaak ervaren als moeilijk, we willen ons liever niet kwetsbaar voelen. Soms kosten dingen tijd, ruimte, rust en hebben we een veilige omgeving nodig om een transformatie, verandering of ontwikkeling te ondergaan. De kwetsbaarheid komt hierin naar voren, maar is tegelijkertijd ook juist de kracht.
